UCella Europe privacy statement
Privacy-sensitive data, otherwise know as personal data, are processed through our online store. uCella Europe considers careful handling of personal data of great importance. Personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us.
In our processing we comply with the requirements set by the privacy legislation (GDPR). That means, among other things, that:
- we clearly state the purposes for which we process personal data. We do this via this privacy statement;
- we limit our collection of personal data to only those data necessary for legitimate purposes;
- we first ask you for explicit permission to process your personal data in cases where your permission is required;
- we take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and also require this of parties that process personal data on our behalf;

uCella Europe is responsible for data processing. In this privacy statement we explain which personal data we collect and use and for what purpose. We advise you to read this carefully. This privacy statement was last modified on 1 March 2018.
Use of personal data
When using our webshop, we obtain certain information from you. That may be personal data. We only keep and use the personal data provided by you directly, within the framework of the service requested by you, or when it is clear you provided these data to us to process. We use the following data for the purposes mentioned in this privacy statement:
- Name and address
- Phone number
- E-mail address
- Invoicing address
- Payment details
- IP address
At certain parts of our webshop you must first register. After registration, we will save the username you have chosen and personal data you have provided. We keep this information so you do not have to enter it every time and we can contact you in the context of the execution of the agreement.
We will not pass on the data linked to your username to third parties, unless this is necessary in the context of the execution of the agreement that you close with us or if this is legally required. In case of suspicion of fraud or abuse of our webshop, we can hand over personal data to the competent authorities.
Through our portal you can gain access to a management environment where you can set, specify and change things yourself.
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data for the processing thereof. If necessary for proper processing, we can also provide your personal data to third parties. You can read more about this later in this privacy statement.
Via www.ucella.me you can take out a paid subscription. For this purpose we ask you for the information required for the payment. This is not used for other purposes.
Contactform and newsletter
On our website we offer the possibility to ask questions through a contactform, where you are asked to fill in various data to deal with your question. You choose which information you provide. According to the nature of the form or the content of your e-mail, the data that you send us will be kept for as long as is necessary for the complete answering and processing thereof.
We offer a newsletter with which we want to inform interested parties about our products and / or services. Every newsletter contains a link with which you can unsubscribe. Your e-mail address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your explicit permission.
The App that provides the service has been downloaded via an App store from third parties such as Apple or Google. We have no influence on which personal data the provider processes and for which intent. We recommend that you read the relevant privacy statements from the provider.
If necessary for the service, we can collect location data (GPS) from you. For this, your permission is requested at that moment. This (location) data can also be stored and processed by the provider of, for example, the map software, such as Google Maps, but the data can also be used by, for example, Google or Apple itself. We have no influence on this. We recommend that you read the relevant privacy statements from the provider.
Publication and advertising
We do not publish your customer data and our webshop does not display third-party advertisements. In addition to the information on our website, we can also inform you about our products and services via social media. In addition, social media buttons are included in our webshop. With these, the administrators of these services collect your personal data.
Provision to third parties
We can pass on your details to our partners. These partners are involved in the implementation of the agreement. Think of the payment and shipping services. Our partner for providing uCella products and services is located outside the EU. We have strict agreements with them to comply with European privacy rules.
You are free to disable cookies through your browser. Keep in mind that it is possible that our website will no longer work optimally.
We have made agreements with third parties who place cookies on the use of the cookies and applications. However, we do not have complete control over what the providers of these applications themselves do with the cookies when they read them out. For more information about these applications and how they deal with cookies, please see the privacy statements of these parties (note: they can change regularly).
We use Google Analytics to keep track of how visitors use our webshop. We have signed a processing agreement with Google to make arrangements about the handling of our data. Furthermore, we have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services and we have IP addresses anonymized.
We take security measures to limit abuse of and unauthorized access to personal data.
The personal data described above are retained for as long as necessary to process your orders, including warranty. We then store data for a maximum of one year for the statistical purposes described. The data will then be deleted unless there is a statutory obligation that requires longer storage (such as the seven-year fiscal retention obligation for payment data).
Third party websites
This privacy statement does not apply to websites of third parties that are connected to our webshop by means of links. We can not guarantee that these third parties handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. We advise you to read the privacy statement of these websites before using these websites.
Changes to this privacy statement
We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy statement. It is advisable to consult this privacy statement regularly so that you are aware of these changes.
View and change your data
To prevent abuse we can ask you for adequate identification. When it relates to access to personal data linked to a cookie, you need to send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find it in the settings of your browser. If the details are not correct, you can ask us to change the data or have it removed.
Data Protection Authority
Of course we will gladly help you if you have complaints about the processing of your personal data. Under the privacy legislation, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority against these processing of personal data.
